Fashionable socks that stay on your newborn’s feet sound like a great idea…well, they actually exist. At first, we weren’t sure how we felt about the faux shoe sock. Wouldn’t you rather buy a stylish shoe to put on little feet? Then we tried the Trumpette socks and fell instantly in love. The Johnny’s (above), to our disbelief, stayed on our little one’s feet and were absolutely adorable. And better yet, after multiple washes, the socks didn’t shrink or fade.
The inspiration for Trumpette came when Jon Stevenson, owner and creator, adopted his son, Nick. Jon noticed a lack of baby items for boys, so he designed a onsie for his son and placed a few for sale in his men’s shop. The response was huge. He closed his store and Trumpette was born. The line doesn’t stop at boys socks. There are several designs for girls too including tights. We adore the Rosies, a Mary Jane style with sweet satin rose. You will also find shoes and clothes.
