They make everything for kids now! Remember being kids waiting an eternity to be a grown up so you can do cool things like own a scooter? The freedom to go to your friend's house without having to wait for a ride from mom or dad when they're finally "not busy". I am a total sucker for getting my kids what they want but I still have my limits. For one thing, safety always come first, right? There are certain things kids have to be grown ups to do because it is dangerous! This Vespa Scooter ($450 at Vivre) is totally cute and I would have loved to have one when I was 7, but I still have my arms and legs so I guess luckily my parents weren't so lenient. But this is made for little little kids, age 3-7. Uh, there should be laws against putting a 3 year old behind a motorized vehicle. I doubt it goes super fast, but anything faster than standing still is too fast for me. Yes, fine I am overprotective. What do you think?
