How ingenious is this spoon? You fill the dispenser with baby food and just give it a squeeze. We all know how tough feedings can be, between baby's flailing arms and hands and you trying to keep baby from grabbing at the bowl and spoon, most of the food usually does not end up in baby's tummy. Not that this will solve all your problems but it is one less thing to worry about and that is good enough for me. This makes a great gift for new moms as part of a gift basket. You never know you need these things until you encounter the giant mess! Squirt Baby Food Dispensing Spoon at Giggle for $8.

The only unfun part of going to the beach is my constant anxiety that my kids are going to get sunburned. That goes for anywhere that is outdoors actually. Tender baby skin can get sunburned as quickly as 1 minute!! My pediatrician warned me that even with sunblock on, kids should not be in the sun for more than 15 minutes max. Uh, ok, that makes the trip to the beach a little rushed. For your sanity and the safety of your babies' skin, get clothes with SPF protection. It works so much better than any other sun barriers and you don't have to reapply. But to be perfectly honest, my paranoia requires that I use 50+ sunblock on top of sun protective clothing. Reapply every hour!

Stylenotes: Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, & Jimmy Choo
We've got the skinny on the 3 chic-est shoe designers around -- Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, and Jimmy Choo.
I am a shoe snob and my kids really do have the best selection of shoes. I am always searching for the best shoes out there that are still reasonably priced (yes, I would love to outfit my kids with Bottega Veneta woven leather shoes but $280 for a few months of wear is way too wasteful for my conscience). These moccasins from Little Raggio remind me of my favorite Tod's driving moccasins and look just as comfy and stylish. I love the option to have it monogrammed, perfect for gift giving. This would make a fabulous welcome home gift for a close friend or relative. If you have one still this size, it is way too cute to pass up. Admit it, you are getting your credit card out =) At Layla Grayce for $48, additional $15 for monogramming.

I have to say it can be frightening reading the news these days. From toxins in everything from toys to meat, it’s hard to know what’s safe and who to trust. I got the chills when I read in The Independent that a study conducted by UCLA and a university in Denmark found that, for pregnant women, using a mobile device just 2 or 3 times a day was enough to raise the risk of their babies developing hyperactivity, difficulties with conduct, emotions, and relationships by the time they enter Kindergarten. The likelihood was magnified if the children themselves used cells before the age of 7.
7! That’s so young! Makes me think that, perhaps, the even scarier thing is that these days with family plans offered so cheaply, more and more parents are buying so called ‘kiddie’ phones which are made for children as young as 5! What do you guys think about this? Am I the only one who doesn’t understand why youngsters need their own mobiles?!

Andy&bella was started by two fashionistas who loved tattoos, but couldn’t commit to having something permanent on their body (I for one can’t even commit to wearing the Cartier Love Bracelet which is fastened with tiny, sturdy screws that can only be opened and closed using a special, Cartier-specific screwdriver!). Sandy Clayton and Melissa Bell, the designers behind andy&bella, took their passion for fashion and tattoos, and created vintage tattoo-style images screen-printed on cotton t-shirts that come with a matching removable body-tattoo!
The tees come in sizes fit for tots, children, and women and are designed in a wonderful array of vibrant colors. You can order any of the shirts at andyandbellanyc.com for $36.

Make your child is a little fashionista, Tuechild.com with the drool-worthy selection of outfits fit for all those family shindigs and dressy affairs. Though the site has a somewhat limited number of pieces, their selection is impeccable! Check out some of my favorites! How cute would any little girl look in this plaid shift dress ($66)? It’s perfect for your little one to wear to an afternoon summer barbeque and I could just see myself adding some ruffled white socks and a pair of pink shoes for a little extra sass! The little boys stuff is equally cute, like the plaid romper which is on sale from $66 to only $36! These are adorable outfits that will have your tots standing out from the crowd.

Stylenotes: Kohl's: 25%-50% Off Simply Vera Vera Wang

We’re back with the second part of our interview with the eBay toy and gadget director Cat Schwartz! This time Cat is giving us her picks for the newest and coolest toys for tots!
Tot Snob: It's almost time for summer vacation, which means long rides in trains, planes and automobiles. What are some ways to entertain toddlers when they're traveling?
Cat Schwartz: Leapfrog rocks at this category. One product that they just came out with is called the Tag. It's a pen that your child drags along the "Tag" books and the pen helps them read the words. It's pretty amazing.
If you're driving and you have some room, take along the Fropper! This is a bike that's really fun for kids to ride and bounce on. Plus, it folds up into a tiny space so you can take it along for the trip.
Lastly, pack a Kaboost. This turns any four-legged chair into a high-chair assuring comfort for your toddler in any situation.
And I thought Stella McCartney’s line for H&M was exciting! I’ve been a McCartney fan ever since her days at Chloe and I’m absolutely loving the 'Mum' Tote which is part of the limited edition line of travel bags McCartney designed for LeSportSac. With all the stories in the news these days about chemicals and toxins in baby products, I think it’s especially great that the tote is earth-friendly and crafted from 100% recycled polyester. It’s also super lightweight and packed with pockets (four exterior slip pockets, a zip pocket, two insulated pockets for bottles inside, a separate zip pouch and a changing pad is also included), making it perfect for organizing all of your essentials…there's even a tiny stuffed bunny to entertain your tot! The Stella McCartney for LeSportsac collection is available Nordstrom.
