These beautiful and lively teddy bears are handcrafted in Africa by women attending embroidery and applique workshops to better their lives. The Karma bears are sold at Couture Lab and is a part of a program to raise awareness as well as help women in rural and impoverished parts of Africa who make these wonderful bears. The bear is beautiful. I have two young grand daughters who would love to sit on grandma’s lap with this bear.

I have some bears my grandfather helped my grandmother make before he died. These would make a wonderful addition to those for my granddaughter’s room at my house.
Those are so gorgeous. It seems a shame to separate them; they look like mother and child
