For boys, I like to stick to basics and as far as graphic tees go, nothing is as cool as Ed Hardy, the logo tees are $50. I decided to splurge and get the North Face Denali fleece jacket – it is something that will be worn all winter and for $99, it is a very good buy.

For girls, I decided to get a bunch of different things. Again, Ed Hardy is always a favorite, for some reason my daughter is really into skull and cross bones but these are a little cuter and less pirate-y ($50). And of course, jeans to go with. I might divulge in certain things but $200 designer jeans for my girls is not one of them. They do no benefit from superior fit, which is what I think I’m paying for when I buy $200 jeans for myself. These Roxy jeans look just as great on little girls and are $27.50. I love Roxy for their cute little tops as well and these Embroidered Pixie tops are easy and fun, $29.50. I have a little baby girl but even if you don’t, Polo by Ralph Lauren have the cutest little dresses and make excellent gifts. This Jacquard Quilted Dress is comfortable and absolutely adorable, $40.

My daughter is only five months old (barely) but I really want to win so I’d say that she’ll probably love anything black, white, or orange since those are the colors she gravitates to.

My son absolutely loves the Mr. Potato Head float-
I’m entering for my little niece, and she absolutely loves the Dora the Explorer float (and everything Dora… lol!). I have been thinking of taking her down to NYC for the parade some year, I think she would love it!
My tot loves the Dora one too! He just loves that cartoon, we watch it over and over.

My kids love BIG BIRD-
I love watching when they pan on the kids face with amazement, or the people holding down the ballons- those suckers are heavy and take alot of power to hold down. I love themarching bands from all over the USA but my favorite is always seeing Santa- you know why? Because it means the season is here and the shopping and parties and decorating start!

My kids watch it every year,wouldnt be Thanksgiving without the parade,they love the float with Santa on it of course! an they love the Balloons the snoopy is the favorite ,thanks, we sure could use this for Christmas this year
My daughter is turning one on Tuesday and loves animals, especially dogs. She always looks at her books, points, and says ‘dog’, so I think she’ll really love the wonderdog float for this Thanksgiving, her first Thanksgiving during which she will be aware of her surroundings!

My little son isn’t due until January, but growing up I always woke up at my grandparents and watched the parade with all of my cousins. I loved crowding on the couch with everyone, sneaking homemade treats, watching the marching bands that came from all over the country and going into a tizzy when the Muppet or Sesame Street float would go by.

Our children are grown, but we have 3 Great Grand Children. There is 2 girls and 1 boy that just turned 1. We don’t get to see them often. We have not got to see the youngest at all, except in pictures. They live in Texas as well as all of our own Children. We are trying to wait untill the housing market get’s better so we can sell and move to Texas.

I live so close to NYC, but have never experience the parade up close. I have watched it every year on TV. Now I would love to be in the middle of the action.
My daughter is 17 months and this will be her first time viewing the parade on TV. She loves Elmo, Big bird and anything with Sesame Street characters! Can’t wait to see her face when the larger than life floats parade down the streets!

Every year the children and I settle down in front of the TV with our munchies and hot cocoa. Our sweet little pound pup, Ziggy, snuggled between us as we start our MACY’s parade party with a guessing game called “IT’S NEW.’ Everyone tries to be the first to find a new or revamped balloon character. The children help Ziggy locate all the dog balloons. I love to watch the children tell the little dog about the balloons. And I’m always amazed to see how interested he appears to be in their stories — or could it be the cookie crumbs on their chins? Thank you Macy’s for these very special moments

My took my three sons for the first time to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade last year. To see the parade through their eyes was amazing. You seem to forget the little things in life that are a big deal to kids. I’m taking them back this year since my three year old doesn’t remember it. I would love to win the giftcard to finally treat MYSELF to something for a change. Thank you.
