Family Bonding with Lego and Legoland

I just went to Legoland for the first time this weekend so I am feeling very warm and fuzzy about Legos. It was a really great park and we had such a wonderful Saturday there. It's nice for the whole family, which means it is perfect for the little little ones and a bit less exciting for teenagers but overall, it is well designed and beautiful. Most rides have a height requirement of only 36" or less. The highlights are Miniland USA - a land of shrunken American cities all made with Lego; and the splash park with a kiddie area that my 3 year old LOVED and a giant pirate ship with slides and a 10,000 gallon water bucket that dumps on the whole ship when it fills up and tips over (I don't know if it is in fact 10,000 gallons but it is A LOT of water). I want to go back every week! Of course they had shops selling Lego sets and now that I can see the endless possibilities you can make with Lego, I was inspired to get a giant kit and make it a family bonding activity at home. I love to build things and with all the right pieces and full instructions, it would be so much fun to build something crazy and amazing like the Taj Mahal or the Death Star! Imagine the learning, bonding and fun you will have with your kids. The Taj Mahal is $299.99 and the Death Starâ„¢ is $399.99. Free shipping for all orders over $99 through Dec. 1st (no coupon code needed).
