Shoshanna for Best & Co.

To fete their collaboration with designer Shoshanna Lonstein Gruss for the 2008 Resort Season, Best & Co. had a holiday celebration at their boutique within Bergdorf Goodman! It was a great opportunity for me to check-out the line that Shoshanna created which is composed of 9 styles including bikinis and one-pieces for girls and swim trunks for boys. She said that her collection is inspired by the simple and colorful fashion of charming New England seaside destinations like Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Block Island all of which was obvious in the her choice of colors and fun traditional fabrics like gingham! For girls, the stands-outs for me were the one-pieces -- in particular the one with Shoshanna's signature cherries and another floral pattern number (pictured above, both $70) - so cute! As for the boys, Shoshanna has designed some sailboat swim trunks, but those won't be available till February 15th.
