This is a really fun weekend project with your tots! They probably do this at school already so they know the drill but when put on a canvas with real paint, it becomes art that is cheerful, colorful as well as sentimental. I actually looked into buying all these thing separately at Michael's and it isn't cheaper (a 10" x 10" canvas is $8.99 and you'll need four for this project, that's already $35.96) . With this kit, you don't have to worry about buying the appropriate non-toxic materials for tots. It also comes with mixing bins for the paint and the base color is already on the canvas. Actually I did buy all the supplies for this project at Walmart where the canvases are only $4.99 each and it was a lot cheaper than Red Envelope. :)
