My Goddaughter is only eight years old but is as mature as any double digit kid (she even makes breakfast for the family-- eggs, toast and coffee, not just cereal!) and I am running out of cool stuff to get her. Yes yes, you're not supposed to spoil them with 'things' but come on now. Kids like gifts and I like giving them :)
My latest gift is probably the most popular so far, the iPod plush pillow with speakers. I got it from BeTween Scene, a new store in Dallas for kids and tweens, and thought she'd like cuz it's pink. It looks like a plushie but has real speakers that they can plug their iTouch into and cuddle up with when they fall asleep at night. Uh, she didn't just like it, she went nuts and told me it was "like, the greatest gift ever received in the history of gifts". It was so great that her little best friend made me write down the name and number of the store so her dad could order it for her.
