Medicaine Sting Ease Swabs

The whole family was enjoying a pleasant afternoon at the beach until my 4 year old got stung by a bee. She was freaking out but I am pretty good under pressure and didn't want to rile her up further so I just removed the stinger and poured water on it until the Lifeguards showed up. They saw that she was not in shock and that her breathing was normal so they just gave me these Medicaine sting ease swabs. It has benzocaine for the pain, menthol to make it feel cool, and isopropyl alcohol to sanitize. It comes in a plastic vile that you break to get the medication flowing through the cotton tip at one end. I continuously dabbed the sting which amazingly took away the pain. I have been stung by a bee before and let me tell you, I did not react as well as she did, but then again I didn't have this sting ease. After about 40 minutes and 2 of these swabs (and some ice cream), she was running around, playing and having fun again. And my daughter does not have a high pain tolerance so it was definitely this sting ease that eased her. I order these as soon as I got home to keep on hand for the summer when we are outdoor a lot more. They are good for any type of insect bites but it WILL NOT do anything for allergic reactions or shock. It is just a topical treatment to ease the pain and discomfort while the body works it out of the system. Moore Medical Medicaine Sting Ease Swabs at Amazon for $15.36, comes with 10 swabs.
