It's the simple everyday moments with our tots that gives us joy beyond words or reason. There is something so powerful in the basic human pleasure from a hug or tickle or the smile you get when you glance back from the front seat of the car. You can't even describe it and when you try, it just does not sound like it could possibly be worth the pains of parenthood - sleepless nights, the incessant testing of your patience, the immobility (literally and figuratively), pretty much a complete overhaul of your life. This book captures those little moments that show why being a mom is the greatest gift on earth. I am not sure if this book conveys those emotions to those without children but I was crying when looking at this book today and I'm sure you will too. It's a small book with big images.
