I have not been able to put up a story today because I am getting ready for my daughter's eye surgery tomorrow. She is cross eyed, the technical terms is strabismus. They will cut her inner eye muscle on both eyes. The procedure takes 45 minutes but I have been preparing all week with pre-op appointments with her pediatrician and opthamologist. Today I am taking her to get her haircut because she will not be able to do that for 6 weeks after the surgery to avoid anything falling into the eyes. I am also going to the toy store to buy a special stuffed animal to take in the OR with her. I will give a full account and update when it is all done tomorrow.

Good luck Kelly! We will keep your family in our prayers. My husband had the same procedure done when he was two (he told my mother in law he saw two moons). It is actually a happy memory for him because of the toy he received afterward :) .
Good luck Kelly, your family is in our thoughts!
Hope it goes well! Isn't it wonderful that we live in a day and age where hospitals can correct things with a simple surgery?! :) Happy Fall!
Good luck - I'm sure everything will go well. I had the same condition, but not as severe. But at least your little one won't have to wear two inch bifocals for her elementary years. A silver lining in everything.
Thank you for your well wishes!
Love, Kelly
