Baby Cargo Lightweight Strollers: Made With Moms in Mind
By Tot Snob Tina
December 2, 2011

It has been years since I used the cute, but very heavy, Bugaboo stroller with my son. At seven years old, he’s almost ready to carry me around the mall!

Kelly just learned about state-of-the-art Origami stroller with so many extraordinary features it wins out over all the others – except where weight is concerned. Since there’s no way around the fact that most of us are two-stroller families, much like the car situation, we need different strollers for different needs. Baby Cargo has answered the call concerning the weight issue with their new, very modern, 100, 200, and 300 Series ultra-light strollers. Weighing less than 16 pounds (as compared to the heftier 29 lb strollers by Origami and Bugaboo), the lightweight series by Baby Cargo is ideal for zipping around airports, exotic locations, or just your neighborhood without hurting your back.

The Stroller 100 Series is made of ultra-lightweight matte aluminum (weighing just over 12 lbs) and has soft fabric for baby to nestle on. It comes in several unexpected color combos (army/taffy, steel/sky, and sun/night). Best of all, it’s loaded with lots of pockets and has its own cargo basket. This is the simplest, lightest of the series. If you want additional features, such as the multi-position adjustable backrest and leg rest, the 200 and 300 Series strollers are for you. They weigh in, respectively, at 14 lbs, and just under 16 lbs. All models come with easy-gliding wheels and a shoulder strap for carrying.

Baby Cargo has partnered with Zulilly to offer an exclusive pre-sale price on all Lightweight Strollers from December 1st – 3rd, so don’t miss out on this great deal! Check out Baby Cargo for additional retailers.
