I could have used this about 200 times when my tots were little. Either for regular baths because you don't have room for a space consuming tub or just for quick clean ups (poo explosion anyone?) this foam "tub" is the most brilliant invention EVER! This contours and bends to conform with your sink so your baby has a soft surface to lay comfortably while you clean. It lays perfectly flat when not in use so you can hang it on the wall for quick drying and easy storage. This works for most sinks but if you have an extra small or large sink, check the measurements before buying. For really large sinks (like those kitchen farm sinks) and bigger tots, this will still work to give a sitting surface for rinsing but make sure the back is protected in case he falls back. At Giggle.com for $40.

How cute is this for a gift or baby shower favor? And it's ironic =) I love the idea of turning something foul into a wonderful scent. Use it when you are relaxing in your in home spa (your respite bath) or more appropriately, next to the diaper trash can to freshen the room! The blend is White Linden Blooms, Tuberose, Red grapefruit and Tonka beans. Sounds delightful! At Babychix for $30.
Infant bath tubs are never beautiful, they are just functional and you live with how it looks. Well, this one should be featured in an architectural magazine with it's sleek and streamline design. They make full size tubs like this for $10,000! Sure, it is not the most space efficient but if you have room for it (16.5" x 31", weighs 7 lbs empty), there is nothing like this! It is insulated to keep the bath water at the right temperature throughout the bath, it is easy to clean and has a drain plug. It comes in lime, blue and pink, at Amazon for $49.99. I know, you expected it to be way more right? I wish I had a baby right now to buy this for!!
I don't have to tell you how fun these are, you already know by a glance. Your tots will love these! Play for hours at the beach or playground, or even in the bath. Although, the bath water will be freezing cold before your tot will want to get out. I am planning a weekend trip to La Costa (for a Legoland visit!) and they have a tot pool with a shallow sandy beach area. Hello, one eye on them and the other on a magazine for a truly relaxing and fun stay =) The Sand and Water Mill is $18.99 and the super cool Water Pump is $19.99, both available at Moolka.

I get regular massages and schedule girls afternoon of lunch and nails. No guilt whatsoever. There is no room for guilt in my busy life, and I deserve pampering on a regular basis!! But for those days when there is just no time for beauty excursions, I lock my bathroom door, grab a stack of gossip magazines and steal away for a bath. It doesn't even have to be that long, a 15 minute quiet bath does wonders to rejuvenate the mind and body. I am addicted to Molton Brown's Celestial Maracuja bathing nectar, of which I do feel slight guilt over because it is $68 for essentially bath oil. But the smell is heavenly and the oils make my body so silky soft and blissful. The scent lingers in my bathroom, which is connected to my bedroom, so this enjoyment lasts all day (or night). I love this experience so much that it gets me through many rough days by just the anticipation of it. And for that, it is priceless! At Molton Brown for $68. All their scents are mind altering, if this isn't for you, there is one that will transform you.

After seeing the feature on the Today show about bacteria growing in bath toys, I became weary and uneasy during bath times. I try to squeeze all the water out of the squirty toys but of course it is impossible to be 100% diligent. So the other day, after being away on a trip for a few days and allowing things to simmer and brew in the bath toys, I noticed something strange in the crab squirt toy - it looked as if something was casting a shadow inside. It was, of course, full of water and when I squeezed - BLACK gunk came out!!!! I was like, "OUT OF THE BATH, EVERYONE!!!!!" (my 2 tots bath together). It was so nasty. I immediately ran them into my shower for a proper scrub down and as soon as that was done I tossed ALL the squirt toys. Needless to say, there will be no more squirt toys for us. The ones that wind up and swim are ok because they completely drain and dry. Tonight during bath time I would take a closer look at the toys in the bath and seriously consider a proper heave ho of potential germ capsules.

Anya Hindmarch is a stickler for organization and labeling so you can always count on her to have the perfect bag for your every need. This gorgeous eggplant nylon travel kit will keep you happy and healthy, in fashion and sanity. At Anya Hindmarch for $330. Perfect gift for new moms!!
I do not have this and have never used it but I have gotten great feedback from friends who have it. I am just bothered by the idea of putting your tot in a bucket, but that's entirely my own mental block barrier - you know, the idea of tots plus buckets in ingrained in you as a bad thing! But I have to say, when I step back from that, this Wash Pod does make sense. You avoid the feared slippage of a traditional tub, an infant does not need a ton of water and this allows for a deeper soak without the fear of getting water in the ears. Fits up to 6 months depending on how big your tot is but once you're done, you can use it as an actual bucket! Available at Giggle for $28.
