Restaurant high chairs actually work pretty well. The only thing is, it's not the cutest piece of furniture so I would never think about bringing it home. But this Tavo High Chair has all the ease and functionality AND it looks great! I love pulling up my tot right up to the table so she can be a part of the dining experience instead of being set aside eating by herself. It is the best time for the family to get together and on a round table (well, at least mine is), you get to look at everybody. How great is that? I don't think your tot is going to "get" the humor of this booster but when has that ever stopped you from doing anything? =) I still get the Yellow Pages delivered to me on a regular basis and it goes right in the recycle bin, so I suppose to be environmental, I should re-purpose them as boosters. I would be able to seat 16 tots at my house! But they don't have the contours for the bum like this does and it is much lighter since it's made of foam. Just for kicks though, I wanted to share! If you are cramped for space (it folds up pretty small), this is a great option but if you want the full function of a swing, this is not going to cut it.
