If your tot loves Pinkalicious as much as mine does, you know how special this set will be. My 4 year old has memorized the book and she is starting to think like her. I have this all wrapped up under the tree waiting for her to open this, I cannot wait to see her beaming face!! The PJ and doll come separately if you already have the book. The PJ and Book Set is $46 and the Pinkalicious Doll is $45.

For some reason, robots universally capture every tot's imagination. My daughter likes to speak with a robot voice like Vicky from Small Wonders. Annoying when adults do it but somehow funny when she does it. I don't even know where she learned that. When I showed her this game she went bonkers! Kids relate to robots. This Built a Robot game entertains and educates and of course it's super cool. I love the artwork on this set!! At Arte Bebe for $18.
I have a storage closet full of ride on toys that I have to store because my house has become a hazard from the congestion in all our walkways. And I could get the extra room I can definitely use for other things if I got collapsible rocking horses, like this Tori Rocking Horse! It folds flat or easy storage!! Which means, you can tuck it under your sofa or on the side of the closet instead of taking over the entire closet. Additional benefits, eco-friendly rubberwood and nontoxic finish!! Fun does not always have to be painful for the grown ups =) At Giggle for $100.
This is a replica of the 1973 Pony by Eero Aarnio, who said, "A chair is a chair, is a chair, is a chair ... but a seat does not necessarily have to be a chair. It can be anything as it is ergonomically correct. A seat could even be a small and soft Pony on which you can 'ride' or sit sideways." I love his attitude and that is probably why I love this Pony Chair, made of fiberglass shell and a wool blend fabric with padding. Is it a toy or is it furniture? Well, it's comfortable and without a doubt, it will be the most fun seat in the house for tots big and small! Giddy Up Chair is $695.
Snuggies for tots! The Nuddle just launched their much needed stroller blanket. No more gaps and blankets flapping in the cold weather wind while they nap and snuggle. This new Nuddle Baby ($38) is designed to fit with the 5 point harness on a stroller so it will stay put. The Nuddle Kids is double sided, extra plush blanket has foot pocket and hand pouch so tots can still hang on to their lovie and snacks, for $48. Already a celebrity favorite among Kelly Rutherford, Mariska Hargitay, Angie Harmon, and more.
It is never too early to start Jedi training, all tots need to know the power of the force. I have no idea how this works but I have been told it does. There are 15 levels going from Padawan to Jedi Knight. The wireless headset somehow tracks the brain wave to move the ball up and down in the tube. Comes with voices from Star Wars characters to make it realistic! I am so happy the younger generations are getting into Star Wars. We are definitely keeping the legacy going at our house, I am so proud my daughter said she wants a Princess Leia birthday party! At Amazon for $73.82.

One of my greatest find on my recent trip to Hong Kong was the discovery of Nicolas & Bears children's wear. At first glance it is all the typical "kids trying too hard to look like adults"clothes that I usually don't favor for my little one. Upon closer inspection, this European designed Hong Kong based children's brand offers some truly stylish outerwear that moms may even want to get some in their own size. I was particularly fond of the unisex gingham down jacket, which covers down to the knee and is perfect for kids to wear out for their first snow fight this season. In stores they also come in pink and navy blue gingham, but I feel the black and white is the most classic of all. Unfortunately the brand only has outlets in Asia at this time (and the company website really does not justify the actual selection at the store), but If you happen to be traveling near the neighborhood you might want to drop in for a quick peek.
This has got to the be most fun toy ever! It is a real crane that is rugged and easy to use. It comes with a bucket and pallet so your tot can actually move things around, just not the pet or younger siblings, please! Yes, this is mired with danger, so make sure you have enough room for this and make sure there is supervision while in use. This would make the best gift! Remote-Control Mega Crane at Toys to Grow On, 47" crane, requires 6 "AA" batteries not included, easy assembly requires, for ages 4-12, for $39.95.
I always wonder how tots can crawl at break neck speeds on hard floor without a wince. For those who have chased tots on our knees can attest that it is painful and probably damaging for our knee caps. I do realize tots are much lighter so the load is more delicate but it would be better for everyone's knees and sanity if there was padding, like the Silipads knee pads with silicon padding. Why didn't these exist when my tots were crawling?? These are great for going outdoors because scratchy abrasive surfaces does not stop a tot from wanting to be on the go! Put these easy to go on pads and let them go! But wear gloves of course =) One size fits most, comes in blue, green, orange or red for $14.95 at Silikids.
