Arch Angels for growing feet

user-pic

archangels.jpgMy son has been complained of foot aches in the past and the pediatrician assures me it's merely growing pains. He also likes wearing loafers from Tod's that don't offer much support (stylish they may be). I recently discovered Arch Angels cushion pads to insert in the loafers and he loves them. They ease muscle fatique and foot aches for growing children (especially perfect for sporting activities like soccer which my son is starting next week!). Arch Angels are doctor invented comfort insoles and will fit into most shoes and provide cushion support and stability. Great for sports, travel and every day! $18.99-- purchase info here.

Bend it like Ryan McGinness

user-pic

RyanMsoccerball.jpg

We all want to bend it like Beckham. I would do anything to get a little closer to David Beckham even if that means forcing my kids to play soccer. Ok, maybe I wouldn't go that far. However, this hand-stitched beauty satisfies both the soccer and art enthusiast. Surreal images from artist Ryan McGinness, known for his layered silkscreens, are beautifully displayed on each patch. The ball is FIFA tournament quality and ready for any aspiring soccer star. Be prepared to kick in $185 big ones if you wish for this piece. If I purchased this ball, it would live the sheltered life as not to hit the ground, be touched by a foot, hand, or head, nor see the inside of the goal net. My little athletes would admire this ball from afar. But if your David Beckham's kids you'd probably have ten lined up for practice. Available at Vivre.
