I apologize up front for all those not in or near Santa Monica but I had to share this with everyone because it is such an incredible giveaway. What a better Father's Day gift than a totally revved up stroller, like this $4000 Roddler from Kids Kustoms that will be given away at the Right Start in Santa Monica (2212 Wilshire Blvd.) on June 14th from 3-6pm. You can enter at the event or send your contact info by email but you must be present to win. Read our review of The Roddler here.

I never thought this would happen and I am kind of upset because this never happened when I was buying my Bugaboo but you can save 20% on the Cameleon. Certain color combos like this totally fabulous and fun Red and Orange is $719.95 and it's $749 for single color combos. I love my Bugaboo and the Cameleon has so many added features like extendable handle bar, fleece fabric and of course the great color combo options so you can stand out and be unique! I don't care what people say, nothing rides like a Bugaboo! Is it worth the hassle of the 2 piece break down? Absolutely!! At Dreamtime Baby ( sale ends 4.28).
There are a few things I look for in a stroller. First, I want it to be easy to use and lightweight. Second, I want it to look good! Kid Kustoms’ stylish Roddler stroller is made of lightweight materials and fits easily in a car trunk—even a small one. It is available with interchangeable rear fender packages, including the new Traditional ’59, which is reminiscent of a classic car from the 1950s. My husband would love that! And because fenders are interchangeable, you can change them to suit your tastes that day! I also really like that the fenders can feature functional tail lights. That is a great safety feature when walking outside. Prices start at $2,000 (the one seen here is $2500). You can check the strollers out and find authorized dealers at Kid Kustoms.

I have an Aprica stroller, a really cute orange one. I had to get it because I was on vacation, it is very lightweight and is great for tight small spaces and the subway. I really felt like I took a hit because it was about $500. I fret and fought with my husband over the Bugaboo and that was $800 for so much more function and features. This was our secondary stroller so I didn't really want to spend that much. Then I see this Fendi logo thing and I have to just laugh. My little second class stroller (which I actually use a lot) is all fancy with a designer behind it. Fancy yes, but not remotely cute or attractive. If you read Bag Snob, you will know how we detest logos and the Fendi double F is up there as one of the biggest offenders. I have seen the Burberry stroller but at least the plaid is acceptable and it is $695. Before I say how much this stroller is, let me just say that lightweight also means that it is quite rickety and entirely plastic - good for being light but not for being high quality. We already had it damaged by a luggage handler (the wheels snapped off) and it is not suitable for uneven floors, which means anything other than the mall. It will hit the smallest crack in the sidewalk and stop very very abruptly, jarring your poor little baby in there with it. So now that I've laid the foundation for what kind of stroller this is, you can fully appreciate the ridiculousness of the $1600 price tag!!! Aprica for Fendi Logo Stroller at eluxury.

This new stroller designed by Worrell is the coolest thing I have ever seen. It is not out yet, it is only in the design phase and they have no time line for the launch. Which means, all our kids will be out of strollers by the time it comes out. The only information I have on this right now is that it will be affordable, it is extremely light and very versatile. Although from these pictures it is hard to see how versatile it can be and it looks so big! Even collapsed the chassis looks bulky. The outer "shell" is all neoprene and will come in many customizable colors. The baby hammock looks like fun but I'm not sure how well it will do after a feeding, looks like throw up central to me. Other than those minor details, this is one of the most original concepts for strollers. It is about time they reinvent the wheel for strollers, I love my bugaboo but have yet to find the one absolutely most perfect stroller (and I have 3).

Before she turned two, my pre-schooler has zipped through some of the world’s most interesting - and well, snob-populated - zip codes, from the urban jungles to the desert, the mountains, the ocean and yes, even the Arctic. People either admired or hated me for having the guts to travel with a baby as early as two months old. Well, call it a total surrender to a wanderlust that just won’t go away. A baby will never stop me from going places and all I needed was the right gear to accomplish my goal.
Hunt for the right stroller!, was a commandment that I followed religiously as I combed through stroller stores. I tested them all, rejecting them one by one as I went folding and unfolding and gliding through the aisles, until I got my hands on the Italian-made Inglesina Zippy. I fell in love with the Zippy’s true, single-hand fold. Its folding mechanism’s unique pull-up handle indeed allowed multitasking -folding the stroller with one hand while standing upright and safely holding the baby with the other.

I desperately needed a double stroller after I had my second girl and my 2 year old refused to use the foot board on my Bugaboo. Plus, if she wants to nap or rest, I end up holding someone and that pretty much defeats the purpose of a stroller. I shot down Phil & Ted's Sports Buggy because it's really really heavy and the callapsed size is ginormous!! And it is extremely difficult to attach and detach the second seat. My other option for a super narrow stroller that's close to the width of a single stroller was this Maclaren. I hesitated even getting a double because I wasn't looking forward to ramming my way through shopping aisles and being frustrated to tears when I can't fit through doors. The entire basis of my decision was based on its size so it's kinda silly to complain about the smallness of this stroller when that was my one and only reason for getting this, but I have a very petite 2 year old girl and she is jammed in there like a sardine. Other drawbacks: the opening and collapsing is stiff; the seat doesn't recline totally flat; the latch to recline the seat is hard to reach; and the second bottle holder is totally useless because if you recline, the seat is in the way of it. Tot Snob Jori also has this stroller and she hates it. Her issues? She also found it stiff and hard to open, the sun canopy never stays in place, the side lock latches broke in the first few weeks of using, she purchased the stroller because the weight limit is 55lbs per chair and her daughter is 38 lbs and son is 23 lbs (so no where near 55 lbs for each seat) and it is impossible to push and maneuver. I guess you can't have it all, at least not yet. I'm sure someone will design a stroller that is small and light, yet sturdy enough to handle toddlers. But by then, my kids will all be out of strollers. *Sigh*. Maclaren Techno Twin Stroller - Storm Gray (A113621) available through Amazon for $400.

Even the youngest Tot Snobs can participate in Neiman's 100th Anniversary. Bugaboo celebrates Neiman's birthday by offering a Special Collection Cameleon ($1199). You can admire the dark grey base fabric and a metallic silver tailored fabric set while your baby rides in style. A breathable black microfleece blanket for baby and special edition cup holder for your caffinated beverage are included. If you are shopping for a new stroller, this one is a no brainer. You get the fabulous quality of Bugaboo combined with special collection status. You are certain to be the envy of all your friends especially if they purchased one a couple months ago. Too bad they couldn't have waited. The collection, exclusive to Neiman's, is available only for the month of November at select stores or online.

I have been looking for an ultra compact double stroller - pretty much I want a single stroller that will fit both my kids. I have my bugaboo and bought the wheel board so my older daughter can stand while my newborn gets shotgun. But if I am by myself, none of it works, like if my older daughter decides that she is tired or sleepy, she gets the stroller since she's heavier and the baby gets the Bjorn (fine if my husband if with me but not fine if I'm alone). Another thing my older daughter will do is jump off and run away. I can't leave the baby alone but I can't let her run off either. I need to invest in a double stroller because this has become a safety concern, even though I will only have this problem for a few more months (I hear when she turns 3 she will suddenly behave upon command, I have my fingers crossed but I suspect that I should have a backup plan). The concept of this Phil & Ted Buggy is perfect, it has a doubles kit that makes this single stroller fit 2 kids! The second seat can go in the back like a hammock (as shown) or in the front on top of the frame. This is perfect with newborns who can lie down flat on the main seat and doesn't really care about the obstructed view. I thought I had found my solution and was so excited until I tested it out. Here are the drawbacks: 1. this thing does not collapse any where near easily and when it is finally collapsed, it is enormous!! 2. To make matters worse, the doubles kit is really hard to get on and off. I imagine it can be re-engineered to fit easier but the size of the stroller would still be a problem. So I guess it is back to the shopping trail for me. Stroller at Right Start for $399.99 and the doubles kit is $89.99.

Well, we have introduced the Ferrari of all strollers; now meet the Bentley…The Roddler. Kid Kustoms, the creative merge of Pinstripe Preps and Iacono Design, offers the ultimately luxurious stroller. First of all, tiny tushies get cozy on exotic leathers such as ostrich, stingray, alligator, cow hide or alcantra in a variety of colors and stitch combinations. Next, glam up the exterior with a custom paint job or retro inspired Kustom fenders that includes lights. So for the hot rod fanatic, probably your hubby (hey, maybe he’ll fight you for pushing rights), choose from 50’s Buicks, Caddy’s, Old’s or others. Finally, select the proper technology: DVD Screen or i-Pod Dock. At this point, why choose?? Just take both. On a side note, Kid Kustoms supports the 1% for the Planet organization, where businesses donate 1% of sales to the natural environment. I love it when small companies are committed to more than just profits.
The Roddler was definitely designed with Tot Snobs and Mom Snobs in mind. This ride starts at $2500, and that’s the issue. Just thinking about that supple leather getting beaten to pulp and caked in spit up makes me cringe. I would rather put that money towards a great exotic clutch for myself. Selfish maybe, but my kids aren't suffering and don't know the difference between leather or pleather. Also, I don’t know if I am sold on the looks of this thing. Just a little too attention getting for my taste. So, that leads me to ask my Snobby Mommies, what do you think push it or park it?
