Kettler is known to be the best trikes on the market with their safety features like limited turn front wheels to prevent tipping when making sharp turns. To keep them even more ahead of the game, they are introducing a Go-Green trike with mostly recycled materials for their parts. Another major plus, this trike will fold up for easy transport to the park. What else do you need? Oh right, a bucket to hold all the treasures your tots find along the way. Conveniently placed in the back and even has a hinged dumping mechanism. At Amazon for $79.

Today's theme is bike riding =) Well, the weather is getting nice so you gotta start thinking about outdoor activities! I am going to be a full blown Mommy now and lecture. Always, ALWAYS, wear a helmet when doing any potentially dangerous activities. And that includes running. My daughter took a major spill a couple of days ago running up and down our driveway, which has a severe incline. Luckily, she was about to get on her bike so was wearing a helmet. She came careening down the hill and stubbed her toe in the ground and started flying head first for the asphalt. This is all hearsay, thankfully for my emotional well being I did not witness this. She scraped the entire right side of her torso, which she, of course, cried about but if it weren't for the helmet, I don't even want to think what would have happened to her head and face. So, always wear a helmet and to make it super cool and cute, get a Tail Wags helmet cover. Comes in many designs like Slope Shark and Lucky Lady for $40.
With spring break approaching, I am already looking for things to do during the long days at home. This is a super easy project that will also bring some spring blossoms in your home. Allergies, you say? Well, what can be more perfect and appropriate than colorful paper flowers to usher in the spring! Includes everything you will need, including a vinyl vase, so you can safely put this in your tot's room. At Amazon for $15.99.

Even Barbie is more connected than I am here in Milan with no cell service nor Wifi. Now I have more to be jealous about! ;). I guess Mattel is trying to encourage science and technology in the young but hello, can her outfit be any worse? This should not be the way to portray the new elite nerds. I am a blogger and consider myself to be on the cutting edge of technology, albeit I'm a fashion blogger, but I would never where this!! Anyhow this might still be good reinforcement amongst the Malibu and Louboutin Barbies. Will be available holiday season at the end of this year.
If you aren't that parent - you know, those who fantasizes about their sons becoming major league sluggers - I am sure you know one, or a few. For those with girls, the fantasy does not seem to wane - maybe she will be the first girl in MLB!! These gloves are way cuter than those plain old Rawlings and these can be personalized. Either for your own tot or as a gift, you know the perfect person to give these to. At Go To Baby for $99.95.
I just saw the world's longest commercial for Liv World, it is some sort of doll that resembles Barbie and sort of like Webkinz, where there is an online world where they live very complex lives. What ever happened to loving a plain ole rag doll? That's why this Stitch-It Doll resonates with me. It is a DIY doll, I mean, how much more in touch and loving can it be than to have a doll your tot brings to life? It comes with templates and all the accessories you need, even has a handbag for shopping expeditions and a rocking chair to rest on when she's tired. Stitch-it Doll Kit from Little Experience is $14.99.
The Dado Cubes is the best toy investment ever, everyone I know who has it concurs. This is a big statement but I stand by it 100%. Now there is the Dado Squares, which has the same brain twisting fun but is easier for younger minds and smaller hands. It is deceptively simple but it really does flex the brain muscle with the complexity of the structures that can be built. The more you play with it, the more interesting it becomes. I am always making sure everyone I know has either this Squares or the Cubes, if not, you can count on me providing one at the next gifting event. At Fat Brain Toys on sale for $21.95 for the original multi-color set, also available in either shades of blue or all white ice for $16.99.

I Love You More Than Rainbows
I love this book of great rhymes, sweet sentiments, bright bold illustrations, and easy-to-understand text. Your tots know you love them even if you cannot fully articulate it (no one can properly articulate that amount of emotion!) but it is still nice to hear it said out loud. For $10.19.
As the weather heats up, you will need to start planning activities for the great outdoors. My 4 year old is trying out her best on a bicycle with training wheels but that leaves my 2 year old in the dust. So I got her the Plasma Car which is really easy for her to ride. The car moves with momentum so all you need to do is swivel the steering wheel with very little effort to get the car going. There is a place to put the feet up. All you need is a safe flat surface. I don't have a driveway for this but we go to the basketball court in the park where she has plenty of room to roam around. Sturdy enough for grown ups to take it for a spin, I did and it is really fun!! PlasmaCar at Amazon for $54.99.
